đ”ââïžAfter attending Intersolar Europe in Munich and WindEnergy in Hamburg this year, I was also at the Hydrogen Technology Expo Europe 2024 in Hamburg today. It was impressive to see the advancements in technology that are scaling up hydrogen production to help decarbonize the world.
đ§This is particularly significant as the Bundesnetzagentur has just approved Germany’s hydrogen core network yesterday, indicating that 9,040 kilometers of network will gradually become operational by 2032. Establishing green hydrogen production is crucial for various applications, including the production of green fuels like RNG or e-methanol also in other European countries like Spain.
đĄThis strategy will inevitably promote the development of wind farms, solar parks, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), necessitating strong system integration. In summary, visiting all these exhibitions has been inspiringâit’s great to see technology progressing in the fight against climate change!
PS: Greenpeace also was attending today, but in a slightly different way đ€ .
